Aion Review

In Aion, you are a winged Elyos or Asmodian, sworn enemy races, exploring a world of breathtaking beauty ripped asunder by a celestial war. In this stunning massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, abundant solo adventures, intriguing epic group quests, challenging dungeons, and massive Legion raids hone your battle skills to new heights. Take the fight against the dragonlike Balaur invaders into Balaurea, your common enemy's homeland, to save the shattered world you love.

Two playable factions, the Asmodians and the Elyos, inhabit the two halves of the shattered world of Atreia, along with a third nonplayable faction (the Balaur).  These factions battle to establish control over Atreia.

Community:

As a multiplayer online game, Aion has a robust community. Ask questions and read insights from other players, and read news, announcements, and other community information in the Aion forums.

The game user interface is the dashboard through which you control your avatar in Aion. It also displays the information that you receive from the game itself and other players.

Classes:

Templars are defensive tanks. If you’re looking to tank in raids, this is the class you want to play. Capable of carrying a shield they offer the highest defensive value, making it a great fit for the traditional meatshield role.

Gladiators are more offensive fighters, think fury-specced warriors in WoW. What they lack in defense, they make up in offense. If you’re looking for a tank that also can dish out some damage, you’ll probably be happy with this choice.
Assassins are your typical rogue class. Coming from an EQ world, they are rogues, only capable of wearing leather, specializing in daggers and of course counting stealth as their major bonus.
Rangers are the other option for scouts. They trade off the element of surprise – stealth – for better armor and more versatility when it comes to using weapons.
Spiritmasters can probably be compared the most to Magicians in EQ and Warlocks in WoW. They send their summoned creatures to fight for them and stand back during the action. Only being able to wear cloth armor they are dependent on their summoned creatures and other players to protect them from melee attacks.
Sorcerers are your run-of-the-mill, average nukers. Pure range DPS these glass cannons live up to their expectations. Being one of two cloth classes in Aion, they are your main choice for magical range DPS. Like their Spiritmaster counterparts, you have to count on others to protect you from melee attacks.
Chanters use their mantras to give strength to their friends. Basically a buff/debuffing class that seeks its equal in lack of popularity. Justifying your place in a group will be a regular occurance since you neither contribute pure DPS nor are able to heal or take damage directly.
Clerics are the class that of course everyone picks first in an MMORPG. Not. Of course being the only class that can provide any decent heals at all, you are well of having one of them in your group at all times.

Perfect World Review

Perfect World is an MMORPG that mixes beautiful landscapes and even a in-depth customization system that truly makes your character an avatar that you can say "this is me in a game!" The wonderful thing though about the game is that even if the people behind Perfect World know that the detailed customization would be the game's prime selling point, they made sure that there are a lot of things you can enjoy.
A few quirky examples  is that your character can flirt with other players, kiss them and even lift them up and carry them wherever you choose to bring them. Of course the first and most important factor for these quirks is the entertainment you get (of course who wouldn't want to kiss a foxy-fox lady if you know what I mean) some may even have practical use.  For example lifting other players up and carrying them could help in questing, especially for those quests where you would need to reach areas that normally are in accessible through normal means, you can practically bring the person in need to the area just by lifting the person up and bringing them to the designated place.

There are multiple classes:

Archer – Archers are capable of dealing physical damage to their opponents from a safe distance. They have extremely high accuracy and critical hit chance, but low hit points and limited melee capabilities.

Assassin – Assassins are fragile but deadly. They specialize in dealing large amounts of damage to their opponents as quickly as possible. They have some of the highest DPS (Damage per second) in the game and access to powerful DoT attacks. Their weaknesses include very low hit points and weak physical defense.

Barbarian – Barbarians are powerful tanks that excel in absorbing damage. They are great front line fighters and can transform into tigers to increase increase their movement speed. They have very high hit points, high physical defense and powerful AOE skills. Their weaknesses include low accuracy and weak magical defense.

Blademaster – Blademasters are powerful melee characters with access to a wide variety of skills, making them one of the most varied classes in Perfect World. They have numerous stun skills and powerful AOE attacks, but low magic defense and limited single target damage output.

Cleric – Clerics have access to wide variety of healing and supportive skills making them extremely valuable in groups. They have powerful healing spells and access to some decent offensive magic, but the are fairly weak in PvP and cannot deal as much damage as some of the other classes.

Psychic – Psychics are an interesting utility class in Perfect World, as their spells largely revolve around buffs, defbuffs and hexes. They do have access to some offensive magic, but cannot deal nearly as much damage as wizards.

Venomancer - Venomancers are a unique type of caster class with pet taming abilities. They have access to offensive poison spells and debuffs. They are easily the best soloing class in the game because of their pets, but like other casters, they have low hit points.

Wizard - Wizards are the primary offensive spell casting class in Perfect World. They are capable of dealing the most damage in the game and have access to powerful AoE spells, but have very low hitpoints and slow movement speed.

Mystic – A hybrid offensive and defensive magic user. Mystics have access to some powerful direct damage spells but also useful heal over time spells. They can summon pets to fight along side themselves as well.

Seeker – A powerful melee oriented class which wields a large two handed blade. They have access to numerous nature spells and can cast some offensive magic.

Pros:
- The amount of customization allowed for players is in-depth
- Creating your own armors and items can be an addicting task
- Each race is has its own special attribute exclusively for each race.

Cons:
- The game would find it hard to run in less powerful computers
- The game may be too elegant for the taste of the general public
- Passing through densely populated areas can be too much trouble especially if they flock around important NPCs.

WoW Review

World of Warcraft Overview

Ever since its release in 2004, World of Warcraft (WoW for short) has been the golden standard of the MMORPG genre. With a heavily quest-driven progression system and simple gameplay, WoW appeals to a large audience. The cartoony graphics may at first deter players but after some play time, they come to life and truly immerse players into the world of Azeroth. In WoW, players of all classes can easily progress alone but must work together to complete instanced dungeons that reward the best pieces of equipment. This style has helped World of Warcraft remain popular across the world and it continues to attract casual and hardcore gamers alike. Those familar with the Warcraft series will recognize the locations and important NPCs featured in WoW. Players can do battle with Illidian, visit the Orc’s capital of Orgrimmar, or explore parts of the world only hinted at in previous Warcraft titles. But before anything else, players must chose which of the two factions they wish to join — the Horde or the Alliance.

Races:

Alliance - Humans, Gnomes, Night Elves, Dwarves, and Draenei*

Horde - Orcs, Trolls, Undead, Tauren, and Blood Elves*

Classes:

Druid - The most versatile class. Druids are effect support characters but can also call upon their feral nature and shapeshift into powerful beasts.

Hunter - The archer class of WoW, Hunters prefer to attack from a distance and lay traps. Hunters can tame beasts and fight in melee range when the need arises.

Mage - Masters of the elemental arts, Mages have high damage potential but suffer from low defense.

Paladin - Holy warriors who can wear plate but can also cast supportive spells to aid their allies in battle.

Priest - The main supportive class in WoW. Priests have the most powerful healing spells but can also inflict heavy damage with shadow related spells.

Rogue - The premier melee damage class. Rogues can dish out a lot of hurt in a short period of time but suffer from lower defense and health compared to other melee classes.

Shaman - In touch with the spirit world, Shaman’s use totems to channel energy towards those around them — be they friend or foe. Shamans are a hybrid class capable of both melee and magic attacks.

Warlock - Sinister spell casters who use the diabolical arts to summon demons to serve them. Warlocks learn curses and DoTs that weaken and damage their opponents.

Warrior - The primary melee fighter and tank. Warriors in WoW can do much more than absorb damage, properly trained they are capable of inflicting heavy damage.

Death Knight - The first ‘Hero Class.’ Introduced in the Lich King expansion, Death Knights start the game at level 55.*
